When you’re anxious your breathing becomes more rapid and shorter. Your heart also beats faster. Remember to breath in deeply and slowly if you are feeling particularly anxious.
Take a time-out:
Step away for a few minutes. Some head space can be extremely beneficial for calming down and can make your head clearer.
Exercise:
Exercising on a regular basis does wonders for your mind and releases endorphins, a chemical in the body that leads to feelings of being relaxed and happy.
