Paris is the perfect location for a weekend break. The city has so much to offer visitors from art, music, history and food. This family run hotel is ideally located between the Marais and Montorgueil districts of the city. It is stylish little hotel that displays pop art on their walls. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the surrounding areas and the hotel is located right beside Les Halles RER metro station so it is the hotels location that is its big drawing point.

Hotel Ecole Centrale

This is a quaint and cosy hotel for those who wish to have a calm place to retreat to after a long day of sight -seeing. The interior of the hotel is fantastically decorated with exotic plants and hand painted walls that has a rustic Tuscan theme. But if that sounds a bit out dated don’t worry. The hotel provides air conditioning along with free Wi-Fi to all of its guests. There is also a Jacuzzi located on the top floor for those who wish to relax at the end of the day. It is located near Arts-et-Metiers metro station and a double room will cost €80.

Hotel de la Herse d’Or

This is a small hotel that is located right in the Middle of the lively Marais district. With that in mind it would be an idea to request one of the rooms that faces the interior courtyards as it can be noisey at night time.  The hotel provides each room with free Wi-Fi and flatscreen televisions as well as hair dryers. You should request one of the “comfort” rooms as the also have an en-suite.

Hotel Saint-Louis en I’Isle

There are 20 rooms in this 19th century hotel building. The hotel was recently renovated but they have not lost any of that nostalgia in the process. The hotel is decked out with old stone floors, velvet headboards and each bathroom has its own customised bathroom fixtures. The old time feel of this hotel is complimented with a few modern perks. For example you can hire out an iPad from reception if you need to check anything on the internet. Another appealing aspect of this hotel is the location. It is a short walk away from the Latin Quarter of the city as well as the busy Marais district. Notre Dame Cathedral is also within walking distance. A double room in the hotel will cost around €150.

Port Royal Hotel
This is a family run hotel that goes back four generations. The hotel is located just outside the Latin Quarter in an excellent location right beside the Mouffetard market and the Jardin des Plantes. The brilliant location is the biggest plus for the hotel but it should be known that only rooms on the ground floor provide air conditioning and credit cards are not accepted at the hotel. But if you are more interested in staying in a hotel with a perfect central location then the Port Royal Hotel would be a perfect choice. A double room with an en-suite will cost as little as €53 which is great value considering the location.
