Uniformed Gardai were shot at during an ATM robbery in Wexford in the early hours of this morning.  The incident occurred at 3.30am this morning when Gardai were alerted to an ongoing raid at an Ulster Bank branch in Enniscorthy.

Two Officers were carrying out a routine patrol of the area when they were suddenly confronted by a man carrying a handgun. One shot was fired during the incident but no one was injured. The man was able to get away with a quantity of cash during in raid.
