Dublin Fire Brigade Warns Businesses To Be Cautious Over Advertising Scam
Dublin Fire Brigade are warning businesses to remain cautious and wary of a new advertising scam making the rounds as of late.
A statement released by DFB yesterday recounts how an individual is offering advertising space in a publication they claim to be producing on behalf of the company.
Furthermore, this said person ceases all contact with a business after they receive the money into their account.
DFB wishes to inform the public that their Sports and Social Club have an official publication called “Firecall”, produced by Ashville Media Group, which is the only publication they are affiliated with.
We have been made aware of an individual selling advertising in a magazine claiming it to be an official publication for Dublin Fire Brigade. This is a scam. See statement attached. pic.twitter.com/btbYmK0u7U
