Flavours Of South Dublin Will Take Place In Rathfarnham Castle Park

For the second year running, the free food and cultural festival “Flavours of South Dublin” will take place towards the end of this month in Rathfarnham Castle Park.

On Sunday, June 24th, between 11am to 6pm, the very best cuisine from the South Dublin County Council area will be showcased, along with the diversity and vibrancy of the food culture in the county.

The festival will feature flavours from around the world, from traditional Irish fare, to Asian dishes, with something to suit all tastes.

Maria Finn of SDCC said:

“The food festival will bring together all the wonderful restaurants, eateries, and suppliers from our locality, with cultural elements and crafts also on display.

“The festival will provide residents and visitors the opportunity to experience the wide variety of food and culture our county has to offer.

“We want to enable everyone living in our community to fully participate in our society, by promoting an inclusive and dynamic environment in South Dublin where residents are valued, regardless of their nationality, religion or ethnic background.

“This is our second year of the festival, and our hope is that it will bring the many people living across South Dublin together for a day of celebration through food and music.”
