Commissioner Harris will officially announce a new Garda Operating Model at 11am on Thursday 22 August 2019.

The new Operating Model will see improvements to the organisation’s structures, processes, services and governance that will increase the number of front-line Gardaí, deliver a more localised service to communities, and maximise An Garda Síochána’s operational impact.

To facilitate media in advance, An Garda Síochána will hold a technical briefing on the new Garda Operating Model. The technical briefing will take place in Garda DMR Headquarters, Harcourt Square at 10am on Thursday, 22 August 2019.
