Happy Days this October
Cork Opera House will joyously welcome the world famous Harlem Gospel Choir October 20th, for an evening of contemporary gospel dashed with some jazz and blues.
Embodying the spirit of American Gospel, Harlem Gospel Choir have impressed and thrilled the globe with their spirited modern gospel performances; inspired by the gospel classics sung in the churches of Harlem today.
The choir has sung alongside countless internationally renowned artists; Bono, Diana Ross and Pharrell Williams to name a few. Their fusion of ‘Oh Happy Day’ and Pharrell’s own ‘Happy’ is a showcase for the infectious energy and glorious sound the choir can create. Performing for President Obama, President Nelson Mandela, Ban-Ki-Moon, and the UN General Assembly, this is an evening not to be missed.
