The 8th of November saw a total of thirteen people arrested by Gardaí as part of ongoing investigations into a number of serious incidents in Dublin’s South Inner City.

The arrests were made as part of a strategic and co-ordinated ‘Day-of Action’ by Gardaí from Pearse Street Station. A team of 30 Gardaí took part in the operation.

As part of the planned operation 12 premises were searched early yesterday morning at locations across the capital. The arrests were made in relation to investigations into a range of serious incidents including robbery, theft, assault, public order and drugs related matters.

Of those arrested, three were detained for questioning while a further 10 were arrested for the purpose of charge and have since appeared before Dublin District Court.
