Table tennis star to play robot in China next month
One the the best table tennis players in the world will pit his wits against an industrial robot in China in a match pitting man against machine. The game will take place next month aand will see Timo Boll who is ranked in the top 10 of the worlds best table tennis players take on the specially programmed Agilus robot.
The robot was built by a German robot making company called Kuka and is said to be the fastest robot on the planet. The grudge match will take place during the official opening ceremonies for a new Kuka factory in China.
