The Irish Distillers Tasting Club is a six-part series for whiskey lovers, a masterclass in Irish whiskey.

Over the 6 episode-series host Ger Garland meets the master distillers and discusses whiskey appreciation from flavours and aromas, to cask selection and the stories behind each whiskey, while sharing insights into how Irish Distillers create some of the world’s most enjoyed Irish whiskeys.

In the first episode, Ger talks to Dave Quinn, Master of Whiskey Science at Midleton Distillery. Dave takes us through the origins, character and taste of one of the most successful whiskey innovations – the Jameson Caskmates series.

Ger Garland, Irish Whiskey Ambassador, Irish Distillers

Ger Garland joined the Irish whiskey industry nearly 17 years ago, taking on his current role as Irish Whiskey Ambassador in 2014. In 2018 he was named Irish Whiskey Ambassador of the Year at the Global Icons of Whisky Awards, recognising Ger’s passion and knowledge of all things Irish whiskey, and his ability to ignite excitement and appreciation in whiskey fans around the globe.
