One Of Ireland’s Largest Book Festivals Is Now Open

For the 11th time running, Dublin Book Festival is now open to the public.

What more? The majority of events are completely free of charge.

Dublin Book Festival is a celebration of Irish writers and Irish publishing, exploring genres from politics to literary fiction for all ages.

A mix of readings, public interviews, debates, book launches and workshops is what’s on offer.

Most events will take place in Smock Alley Theatre, Temple Bar as well as in satellite venues around the city including the National Botanic Gardens, Irish Writers Centre, Fighting Words, National Library of Ireland and RDS Library.

The Dublin Book Festival for 2017 runs until November 9th and information on the schedule of events can be found via www.dublinbookfestival.com.
