The Irish navy is inviting people down to say hello and visit their hugely impressive patrol ship.

Le Niamh while be docking up at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay this weekend and is going to be open to the public to come and visit.

Revellers will be able to take a look at the ship’s dual purpose gun and possibly also get a glimpse of the hi-tech cameras and radars on board.

The Irish Navy said that she will be open for visits on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay.
