Five Events Across Dublin As Part Of Spanish Wine Week 2018

For the third year in Ireland, the annual celebration known as Spanish Wine Week is taking place from today (April 23rd) to Sunday (April 29th).

Immerse yourself in Spanish viniculture and choose from a range of varied events to suit what you’re looking for. From wine masterclasses, to delicious Spanish supper clubs or flamenco classes, Spanish Wine Week is designed for wine and food lovers of all levels.

Dublin – Camden Street

Pickle, the Northern Indian street food restaurant located on Dublin’s Camden Street is offering a fascinating pairing of five Spanish wines with five courses of award-winning chef Sunil Ghai’s delicious Indian food from 6:30pm today (April 23rd). The event is being hosted by Irish Times wine writer, John Wilson. Tickets are €55 per person. Dublin – Loughlinstown

Tuesday, April 24th from 7:15pm to 9:15pm, Tomás Clancy from The Sunday Business Post and Newstalk Wine Expert will guide you through a carefully curated selection of exciting wines from Rias Baixas, Bierzo, Rioja & Ribera del Duero. The wines will be accompanied by delicious meats & cheeses selected by Chef Nick and his team. The event is to take place in Whelehans Wines (The Silver Tassie) on Bray Road in Loughlinstown. Tickets are €25 per person. Dublin – Lincoln Place

Wednesday, April 25th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm the Instituto Cervantes in Lioncoln House is hosting an evening filled with Spanish culture. The event will open with a performance of flamenco dancing, followed by an introduction all about Sherry wine and concluding with all attendees having a chance to taste the delicious Iberian ham, paired with Fino Tio Pepe.
